Where colour, creativity, and a little bit of magic come together.
Glass fusing is the art of layering beautiful pieces of glass to create a unique design that is transformed into a finished piece through the wonder of the kiln.
Before you can jump into our walk-in “create your own” glass experience, we ask that you first join us for one of our weekly ‘INTRODUCTION TO GLASS’ workshops. This is where you’ll learn the basics, explore the materials, and discover the techniques needed to confidently create your own glass treasures.
Your project begins with a 6” square glass base — then the imagination takes over! Choose your colours, textures, and glass pieces to build a design that feels completely yours. Once your masterpiece is arranged, we’ll carefully kiln fire it, melting the layers together into one beautiful, solid creation.
After firing, your piece can be shaped into a charming glass dish for a $10 fee or left flat to become a window sun-catcher that captures the best light.
After completing a workshop with us, you’re welcome to return for independent glass creations during our walk-in creative times. We do recommend reaching out ahead of time by phone or email, as our glass fusing area may be reserved for private events or party's.
Come play with glass, colour, and creativity — and leave with a piece made entirely by you.
What You'll Learn
Your instructor will introduce you to the exciting world of glass fusing, explain how the process works, and show you how to safely handle the materials. Then it's time to let your creativity shine!
You'll begin with a clear glass base and choose from a vibrant assortment of colourful glass pieces, frit (crushed glass), stringers, dots, and decorative elements to create your own design. We'll teach you simple techniques and share creative ideas, but every project is uniquely yours.
Our instructors are always nearby to answer questions, offer guidance, and cheer you on while you create.
